Samsung’s The Frame TV is a unique product that can be used to display artwork and memories when not watching videos. Now, Samsung India has announced that it is paying homage to West Bengal and its rich art form, “The Kalighat folk,” on its lifestyle TV, The Frame.

For those who don’t know, the Kalighat folk style art is usually made on mill paper with flowing brush strokes. The Kalighat folk art style that you will see on The Frame TV is courtesy of Samsung and the patuas (painters) from different parts of West Bengal. You can get the artwork collection from The Frame’s Art Store, which has a collection of over 1,600 local Indian folk and tribal artworks.

The Frame TV not only has Kalighat folk artworks, but it also features other folk artworks such as Madhubani from Bihar, Gond artworks from Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, respectively. Thanks to The Frame TV’s Quantum Dot technology, 4K processor, and 4K upscaling AI technology, the artwork looks great on this display.

Also, the matte display of The Frame TV helps get rid of reflection, allowing you to view the art displayed on the TV in its true form from whatever angle you are viewing it.
