Vi (Vodafone Idea) is shutting down its 3G services in Delhi from January 15. As a result of the new change, the operator has started asking its customers in the Delhi circle to upgrade their existing SIM to 4G. India's data usage has grown at a Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 53 percent over the last five years between 2017–2021, according to a report released by telecom giant Nokia on Tuesday.
