Behold! Rare Quasar Triplet Forms Most Massive Object in Universe

Supercomputer simulations on Frontera reveal the origins of ultra-massive black holes, the most massive objects thought to exist in the entire universe. Shown here is the quasar triplet system centered around the most massive quasar (BH1) and its host galaxy environment on the Astrid simulation. The red and yellow lines mark the trajectories of the other two quasars (BH2 and BH3) in the reference frame of BH1, as they spiral into each other and merge. Behold, Custom Holographic “M1 Inside” CPU Stickers For Your Mac

The easiest way to differentiate a Windows laptop from an Apple one is to either check the logo on the lid, or find the collection of Intel, AMD, Microsoft, and Nvidia stickers near the keyboard: the telltale branding of the PC world. If, for some reason, you feel your MacBook’s clean finish would be better off with stickers prominently promoting the hardware inside it, there’s an Etsy shop that can help you out.Vinoth Ragunathan, a Toronto-based designer, is the owner of InsideSticker, an Etsy shop that currently sells

Masego: Masego review – behold a wizard at work | R&B

As a songwriter, you should disappear the effort of making your music until it sounds like it just poured out of you, so it feels eternal yet new every time we encounter it, like the morning sun. By this rubric, 29-year-old Jamaican-American Micah Davis – Masego – may be a magician. Early work such as The Pink Polo EP introduced his “TrapHouseJazz” concept, attempting to splice those three disparate black music strains into something stronger and stranger. Yet his 2018 debut, Lady Lady, while filled with lovely tunes,…

Behold! NASA’s Artemis I Orion Close Flyby of the Moon

Artemis I will be the first integrated flight test of NASA’s deep space exploration system: the Orion spacecraft, Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, and the ground systems at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The first in a series of increasingly complex missions, Artemis I will be an uncrewed flight that will provide a foundation for human deep space exploration, and demonstrate our commitment and capability to extend human existence to the Moon and beyond. During this flight, the uncrewed Orion spacecraft…

Behold the mysteries (and flying cats) that await in Forspoken – Destructoid

The shallowest ‘Deep Dive’ ever One of the first big releases of 2023 will be Square Enix’ dimension-hopping adventure Forspoken, which arrives on PC and console platforms in January of the new year — Developer Luminous Productions has released a new video spotlighting the many quests, allies, mysteries, and distractions that await young hero Frey’s journey into the magically-infused world of Athia. The amusingly titled “Deep Dive” video, (running just short of four minutes), focuses on the many adventurous aspects of…

Microsoft Office Retiring After 30 Years. Behold Microsoft 365

I’m really digging Microsoft 365's new purple logo.Image: Courtesy of MicrosoftAfter inhabiting our vocabulary and our devices for more than 30 years, “Microsoft Office” is retiring. That doesn’t mean apps like Word and Excel are going away, but rather that the company’s suite of tools is taking on a new, somewhat familiar name: Microsoft 365. Microsoft announced the change at its Ignite conference on Wednesday. Over the next few months, Office.com, the Office mobile app, and the Office app for Windows will adopt the

Behold! The World’s Next Supercontinent, Amasia

A possible Amasia configuration 280 million years into the future. Credit: Curtin UniversityNew research has found that the world’s next supercontinent, Amasia, will most likely form when the Pacific Ocean closes in 200 to 300 million years.A Curtin University-led research team used a supercomputer to simulate how a supercontinent forms. They discovered that because the Earth has been cooling for billions of years, the thickness and strength of the plates under the oceans reduce with time, making it difficult for the next…

SocialMedia Goes Big For Tate Brombal & Nick Robles Behold, Behemoth

| Following on the heels of much-talked-about (and sold-out) launch of Christopher Cantwell and German Garcia's Briar last week, Boom Studios is back with another creator-owned launch that they want to be the buzz book of New York Comic-Con week – Behold, Behemoth. Like Briar ahead of it, Behold, Behemoth has been sent out to the comics community to get PR-friendly quotes ahead of its Final Order Cutoff date next Monday, October 10th. This bodes well for the first creator-owned series from Eisner Award-nominee Tate…

Behold the fat bezel on the new Pixel Watch

There have been rumors its bezel would be thick, and this leaked image of Google’s new Pixel Watch has given us our clearest look yet. It looks like it takes up almost 10mm of the case’s rumored 41mm diameter. For the most part, Wear OS 3 does a good job at obscuring the black ring, making it seem like part of the display. But this particular menu makes it very obvious. The image is part of a larger leak fueled by Japanese retailer Joshin and shared by WinFuture’s Roland Quandt on Twitter.Following its announcement at I/O…
