DoT Addresses Surveillance Concerns Raised By COAI, Claims to Use Data to Resolve Call Drops
Responding to the surveillance concerns raised due to increase in requests for call data records (CDR) of mobile subscribers, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on Wednesday claimed the call data requests were aimed to address poor network connectivity issues.
