This stickless arcade controller upped my Tekken 8 game

Razer With the release of Tekken 8, I’ve been at a bit of a crossroads. I had no clue what controller I wanted to use to learn and beat the rest of the competition. A standard Xbox controller? PlayStation’s DualSense? A fightstick? Or maybe it’s time I looked to the future and tried out a hitbox controller? That last option is the one I’d ultimately go with, thanks to the Razer Kitsune. Released last year, the Razer Kitsune is a hitbox-style fighting gamepad with no joystick. Its selling point is that it is sleeker…

Capcom has released a survey to gauge interest in a number of remakes and sequels for its iconic franchises. READ MORE: ‘Persona 3 Reload’ is shaping up to be a must-play remake Capcom has launched what it calls Super Elections, which are basically a series of questions asking for feedback from the community. Questions include “What was your first Capcom game” and “What image do you have of Capcom” but alongside the marketing talk, there’s a series of questions that could shape where the studio goes next. “Are there any…

Recent Capcom survey once again pokes the Dino Crisis interest bear – Destructoid

Ah, publisher surveys. You gotta love ’em. Sometimes they’ll press certain companies into reviving age-old properties, and what better company to dig up old chestnuts than Capcom. The latest survey comes by way of the Japanese site Capcom Town, which is currently hosting a “super election” with 10 simple questions to answer. There are nominal rewards involved for reaching certain participation milestones, but the rule rub lies within the content of the questions themselves. Let’s take a look at what could be cooking…

Capcom removes two ‘Devil May Cry’ games from Steam

Capcom has seemingly removed two Devil May Cry games from Steam. The original version of Devil May Cry 4, released in 2008 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and the 2006 Special Edition of Devil May Cry 3 have both been delisted on Steam. No reason for their removal has been given, though SteamDB claims both games were “retired at the publisher’s request”. It’s still possible to buy the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 4 on Steam though, while Devil May Cry 3 is available via the 2018 Devil May Cry HD Collection, which also…

Um…this Resident Evil 4 mod has a harbor seal instead of Ada Wong

Say what you will about the likes of Resident Evil 4, its iconic B-movie cheese means it’s a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously. However, there’s being flippant about certain aspects of your IP and…whatever’s going on with this mod. If you want to see the kinds of things people do to mess about with their favorite games, look no further than Nexus Mods user SupremeLeader777. For some reason, they’ve decided to take Ada Wong from Resident Evil 4‘s “Separate Ways” DLC and swap out her character model for that…

You can now play Resident Evil 4 Remake in first-person with this mod

While there’s nothing wrong with playing the remake of Resident Evil 4 as intended, some have been hoping for a first-person view. The VR update does allow for that, but now there is a mod for those that don’t have a headset but still want a first-person RE4 experience. As noted by PCGamer, Nexus Mods user elsuperaguas has released the beta version of a mod for Resident Evil 4 that switches the perspective. Now, without having to use the PSVR 2, you can play last year’s remake in glorious first-person.…

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is another welcome throwback

Capcom I’m on a bit of a nostalgia kick right now. After burning out on new releases after a hectic 2023, I found a renewed love for gaming on my Nintendo DS. Games like Metroid Prime Hunters and Kirby Mass Attack brought me back to a unique era of two-screen game design brimming with innovative ideas. I’m not the only one missing that time, apparently; 2024 is already filled with DS throwbacks like Another Code: Recollection. That emerging trend continues this week with Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy. The…

Exoprimal x Monster Hunter collaboration launches today with Season 3

Much like with Street Fighter 6 in Season 2, one of the big selling points of Exoprimal Season 3 is the Monster Hunter collaboration that Capcom has been promoting. The new season launches today, and it incorporates a pretty meaty amount of content. Ryozo Tsujimoto, series producer of both Exoprimal and Monster Hunter, released a developer commentary video breaking down the collaboration of the two beast-battling titles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDqr47Sqf9c The highlight of the new content for most is likely…

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is much better than I expected

Capcom Forgive me if this isn’t the most professional introduction, but I can’t help it: Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is freaking awesome!! Developed by NebulaJoy and supervised by the Japanese DMC team, Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is the first time the series has delved into the mobile realm with a completely original title. It returns fans to the life of a Devil May Cry 3-aged Dante, which somehow includes Nero and Vergil. I won’t question those timeline shenanigans because a mobile cash grab is the last place…
