Nintendo Switch has a ton of eShop deals, including a Blockbuster Sale

In honor of Pikmin 4 showing its face, it’s time to check out Pikmin 3 Deluxe while it’s on sale If you’re looking to add a game (or three) to your digital Nintendo Switch collection, here’s a friendly nudge. Between the Blockbuster Sale and several other publisher promos going on right now, there are a lot of deals to peruse on the Nintendo Switch eShop. No, no — not that Blockbuster. But I sure do have fond memories of picking out N64 games for weekend rentals. With so many potential games to try and limited knowledge,…

10 games to get on the Switch eShop

Are you in a party, co-op, or head-to-head mood? Some of my fondest Nintendo Switch memories were formed with multiplayer (and especially co-op) games, and if you’re looking for a group activity, the Nintendo Multiplayer Sale is worth a run-through. There are about 50 discounted games on the eShop, as well as some DLC, and the deals will stick around through August 7. You can see the full list of featured games over here, and I’ve got recommendations. That said, this is a digital Nintendo sale — the games are often…

Live A Live’s demo is live on the Nintendo Switch eShop

Live many lives A short demo for the upcoming HD-2D remake of Live A Live is out on the Nintendo Switch eShop right now. And after spending a little bit of time with it, I’m pretty keen on playing the full game. The demo was announced during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase, allowing fans to get an early hands-on with the July 22nd release. The Live A Live demo also carries save progress over to the full game, so don’t worry too much in that regard. Still, even in demo form, the unique charms and ideas…

7 Switch games you should grab in Nintendo’s big eShop sale

Steam isn’t the only platform holding a big summer sale. Nintendo Switch users can currently get a whole bunch of games up to 50% off on the eShop from now through July 6 in a “Big Ol’ Super Sale.” While gaming sales are a dime a dozen, a Nintendo sale is especially significant. The company is usually stingy when it comes to discounting its exclusives, so events like this are rare. The list of discounted games isn’t one to ignore. While it doesn’t include any recent releases, like Mario Strikers: Battle League, it’s…

Nintendo Big Ol’ Super Sale is live on the eShop with big ol’ discounts

Get some Switch hits for a good deal The Nintendo eShop has got a sale on, and it’s a pretty big one at that. The Big Ol’ Super Sale on the eShop has some solid deals for those looking to fill out their Nintendo Switch backlog. Running now until July 6 at 11:59 p.m. PT, several staples of the Nintendo Switch library are on sale. For Nintendo fans in particular this is a good one, as several Nintendo first-party games are seeing discounts. Super Mario Odyssey, for example, is up for 30% off. The remake of The Legend…

‘Roller Champions’ is coming to Switch according to a new eShop listing

It looks like Ubisoft‘s free-to-play skating game Roller Champions could be coming to Nintendo Switch, according to a new listing. As reported by Eurogamer, the listing comes from a new UK Nintendo eShop listing where it states that Roller Champions is coming to the console today, on June 21. The listing also confirmed that this version of the game will be free-to-play as well. Nintendo has yet to officially announce the game’s release on Switch, but its likely confirmation will come sometime today. Roller Champions.…

Best 3DS games to buy before the eShop closes

Source: Nadine Dornieden / iMore Nintendo recently announced the imminent closure of the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U eShop storefronts, much to the dismay of fans. There are many 3DS-exclusive games that have only had a home on Nintendo's first console to successfully offer a 3D gaming experience. As of May 23, 2022, users will no longer be able to add funds to their Nintendo 3DS or Wii U via a credit or debit card. From August 29, 2022 onward, users can no longer add funds to their 3DS or Wii U via Nintendo eShop…
