wipro: Wipro seeks Rs 25 crore damages from ex-CFO Jatin Dalal for breach of non-compete rule
IT major Wipro has claimed damages of Rs 25.15 crore along with an annual interest payout at the rate of 18% per annum from September 29 from its former chief financial officer (CFO) Jatin Dalal, who the company says has violated the non-compete clause in his employment contract, according to a lawsuit filed in November.As part of the non-compete agreement, one of the clauses barred Dalal from joining any other rival company for a period of 12 months from the date of his resignation.
