Two diamonds in the Bay Area film scene get their opportunity to sparkle beginning this week.
After a two-year absence, the San Francisco Silent Film Festival returns May 5-11 with its jam-packed 25th program at the Castro Theatre.
In San Rafael, the sixth DocLands Documentary Film Festival checks in at the Smith Rafael Film Center with in-person screenings May 5-12 and online viewing options May 5-11.
