Everything But the Girl: Fuse review – still staking out pop’s frontier after 40 years | Everything But the Girl

This week, Everything But the Girl’s social media accounts posted some previously lost footage of the duo around the time of their debut album, 1984’s Eden. Weight loss drugs, and a new abortion fight frontier

Over the course of the last year, so-called “miracle” weight-loss drugs have blown up across the internet. Although celebrity users have boosted their standing, they owe much of their fame to social media and discussion boards, where they are promoted by influencers and everyday people alike. Yet not everyone who wants them goes to a doctor. Throughout 2022, rising demand for weight-loss injections caused global shortages. As a result, some people began seeking these drugs illegally, crossing borders or buying them…

Frontier’ producer has “bet [his] career” on creating a casual ‘Tarkov’

Matt Lightfoot, lead producer for Yager’s extraction shooter The Cycle: Frontier, has told NME that he has bet his career on cracking an Escape From Tarkov-style extraction shooter that serves casual audiences. While a number of games and game modes – including Battlefield 2042‘s short-lived Hazard Zone mode – have tried to create a more welcoming version of the extraction shooter genre popularised by hardcore shooter Escape From Tarkov, none have found the same success as Tarkov‘s Battlestate Games. “I thoroughly enjoy…

New Pokémon Scarlet & Violet sandwich glitch transcends the final frontier

Hoopa, we have a problem I don’t need to tell you that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are buggy games. I personally encountered several funny glitches without even trying, let alone the many hilarious oddities shared on social media. The bar for newsworthy bugs in Scarlet & Violet is astronomically high, yet one emerging glitch clears all expectations with approximately 300,000 feet to spare. Trending on Japanese social media is the hashtag “サンドイッチ爆発学“ which Google translates as “Sandwich Explosives.” This refers to a…
