A Berkeley congregation has completed its real estate exodus. Highlands Lutheran Church sold its roughly 14,000-square-foot church at 3995 N. Irving St. last week for $1.48 million, or about $106 per square foot. It had been listed at $1.75 million. The buyer was Mounashram Inc., a faith-based nonprofit. Jury finds Highlands Ranch doctor stole $242K in pandemic aid

A Highlands Ranch doctor has been convicted of two federal felonies related to the theft of $242,000 in pandemic relief funds that he used on personal expenses. Jurors found Francis Joseph, 57, guilty of wire fraud and the theft of health care benefit program funds last Friday. The jury found him not guilty of theft of government property. Scottish automotive startup Munro Vehicles today revealed its rugged all-electric 4x4. Cut from the same cloth as the Bollinger B1, the Munro Mark 1 is a bold, boxy off-roader specced to deliver decades of all-terrain productivity, exploration and just plain fun. Natuur opens locations in Highlands, Sloan’s Lake

After opening its first location just over a month ago, a local smoothie joint is already adding a second space with plans for further expansion. Taylor Spradling and Zachary Van Cleave opened the first location of Natuur (Dutch for “nature”) at 3712 W. 32nd Ave. in the Highlands on May 26, serving up a small menu of smoothies and smoothie bowls.
