Nigeria’s capital importation fell by 2.4% in Q2 2022

The total value of capital importation into Nigeria in the second quarter of the year fell to $1.53 billion from $1.57 billion in the preceding quarter, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday. The Nigerian government spent $13 million on bitumen imports in 2020 despite the nation’s huge deposits, the director-general of the Mining Cadastre Office, Simon Nkom, has said.
