Robocop’s Joel Kinnaman Shares What He Found ‘Lacking’ From The Reboot, And He Makes A Good Point

In 2014, two years before he debuted as Rick Flag in Suicide Squad, Joel Kinnaman led the Robocop reboot as Alex Murphy, the role Peter Weller originated in the 1987 original. Unlike the first Robocop movie (which is considered one of the best sci-fi movies of all time), this take on the material earned mixed critical reception, with some not approving of it whatsoever and others saying that this Robocop is better than you think. Nearly a decade after its release, Kinnaman has shared what he found “lacking” from the…

Citi Bike service is lacking in low-income areas in NYC, report finds

A report issued this week from New York City Comptroller Brad Lander found that Citi Bike faces “significant operational shortcomings” in the city, and determined that the problem is even worse in low-income neighborhoods and communities of color. But Lyft, which owns the bikeshare platform, said the report was unfair in its analysis and contained several inaccuracies. Citi Bike, which allows consumers to rent bikes for short periods of time, has grown in popularity in recent years and has built out a massive network of…

`The Killer` movie review: Interesting but lacking in suspense and thrills

Cast: Michael Fassbender, Arliss Howard, Charles Parnell, Tilda SwintonDirector: David FincherRating: 2.5/5Runtime: 118 min A generic title like this spells doom for a movie that encompasses an assassin’s assignment that goes wrong. The Killer is not as deep and intriguing as David Fincher’s oeuvre dictates. It’s interesting enough and has a detailed rigour which might evince curiosity for a short brief while but over the length of the not-too-long narrative, this film still feels slow, ponderous and…

Cillian Murphy on Oppenheimer, sex scenes and self-doubt: ‘I’m stubborn and lacking in confidence – a terrible combination’ | Cillian Murphy

Cillian Murphy is struggling with what he can and can’t say about his title role in Oppenheimer, the latest Christopher Nolan epic, such is the secrecy surrounding this film. Murphy is under “strict instructions” not to talk about the content. Which is awkward when you’ve flown to his home in Ireland to interview him specifically about playing the physicist who oversaw the creation of the atomic bomb, later detonated over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It’s not clear who issued these instructions. Nolan? The studio? The US…

The former ‘View’ co-presenter, 38, slated the first season of the show, and has now hit out at the second series of the ‘Sex and the City’ spin-off as criticism spreads it does not live up to the original show. She said in an essay for the Daily Mail about how “soulless” showrunners seemed as if they were using it to tick off “a woke checklist”: “The knock-off lacked everything…

The biggest challenge that Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) have been struggling with is the lack of utility or real use cases.
