Mainstay character Yoshimitsu highlighted in latest Tekken 8 trailer

Bandai Namco is continuing with their Tekken 8 character highlight trailers, this time putting the spotlight on the enigmatic Yoshimitsu. Fun fact (not really), I never really got into the Tekken series, but whenever I did play, it was either using Mokujin (if available) or Yoshimitsu. That’s largely because Bandai Namco has a Yoshimitsu in the Soul Calibur series. They may or may not be the same guy. I’m not really up on my lore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8JGUIF2pu4 This trailer is so rad. One part of it…

Stern, 69, confirmed Cirella’s death on his self-titled radio program Wednesday, saying that Cirella’s heart gave out after he suffered complications from a treatable illness. “It’s going to be difficult for me to get through this eulogy, this obituary if you will,” the broadcaster began. “My dear friend, Ralph, who calls into the show all the time and, Ralph, who has been at my side for so many years, has…

Post-hardcore mainstay Rick Froberg brought deep feeling to ferocious noise | Music

It’s 1995 and Drive Like Jehu are playing CBGB in New York City. Guitarist John Reis unfurls the riff to Sinews as some people in the crowd talk over him. To his left, looking like Thurston Moore’s little brother with his long arms emerging from an oversized T-shirt, Rick Froberg stands almost completely still, adding piercing notes to the squall. Almost 30 years later, while watching a VHS rip of the show on YouTube, it is still possible to feel the power of the moment, knowing that the blowhards in front of the stage…

There’s a Very Serious Reason Why This Marvel Mainstay Wasn’t Invited Back for ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’

Screengrab via YouTube/Screen Rant Plus Warning: This article contains depictions of sexual abuse. If you’ve seen Quantumania already, then you know there’s one character from the first two films who’s conspicuously absent from the proceeds – Scott Lang’s getaway driver Dave, better known as the rapper T.I. The reason he’s missing isn’t a great one, either. Back in the early part of 2021, T.I. — whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. — was facing some pretty serious sexual abuse allegations along with…
