PES 2020 Review | NDTV Gadgets 360

For a football game that has long needed to improve its defensive credentials, it's baffling that only one of seven advertised gameplay changes to PES 2020 — now inelegantly retitled eFootball PES 2020, to reflect Konami's growing focus on e-sports — focuses on that aspect. Even then, said defensive improvements have more to do with player animations than Konami's philosophy and approach to the art of winning back possession. In PES 2020, defenders still charge like homing missiles, aren't interested in tracking forward…

iPhone 11 First Impressions | NDTV Gadgets 360

iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max made their expected debuts at Apple's special event at the Steve Jobs Theater on Tuesday. The most affordable of the trio is, of course, the iPhone 11, the spiritual successor to last year's iPhone XR. The iPhone XR was seen by some as the iPhone to get if you couldn't afford the iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max — instead of the great entry-level flagship iPhone that it was — so the rebranding should help Apple establish the iPhone 11's rightful place in the 2019 iPhone lineup as…

Lenovo K10 Note Review | NDTV Gadgets 360

The new Lenovo K10 Note is one of the few phones under Rs. 15,000 to sport a telephoto camera, which in itself, sets it apart from the crowd. While most companies seem to be adding additional wide-angle cameras, it's nice to see Lenovo thinking a little out of the box here. Lenovo K10 Note price in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB variant, which is what we'll be reviewing today. In this segment, the Lenovo K10 Note competes directly with phones such as the Realme 5 Pro (Review), Vivo Z1 Pro (Review), and the Xiaomi…

Realme XT Review | NDTV Gadgets 360

Realme is adding a new ‘expert' member to its smartphone family, called the Realme XT. The main highlight of the Realme XT its 64-megapixel sensor, which is a big step up from the 48-megapixel sensors we've been seeing of late. The name ‘XT' would lead you to believe that this phone is a successor or at least part of the Realme X line, but it's more of a souped-up version of the Realme 5 Pro. The Realme XT is positioned between the Realme 5 Pro and Realme X, thereby plugging in whatever price gaps exist between those two…

Moto E6s First Impressions | NDTV Gadgets 360

Motorola has added a new member to its affordable Moto E-series – the Moto E6s. This new Motorola offering is the first member of the Moto E lineup in India to pack dual rear cameras, and has a couple of other surprises that buyers might appreciate – an interchangeable back cover and a removable battery. The rest of the Moto E6s' hardware is typical entry-level Android phone fare, and this phone is pitted against the likes of Redmi 7 (Review), Asus ZenFone Max M2 (Review), and the Realme 3 (Review). We were able to spend…

iPhone 11 Review | NDTV Gadgets 360

2017 was the first year in which Apple released three new iPhone models at the same event. While the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus marked a natural progression in the iPhone lineup, the brand new iPhone X with Face ID — and no home button — provided users a glimpse at the future of the iPhone.Last year, Apple tripled down on that design by releasing three different models that all looked like the iPhone X (Review). This meant that there were no direct successors to the iPhone 8 (Review) and iPhone 8 Plus (Review) — which…

Oppo Reno 2Z Review | NDTV Gadgets 360

Interestingly, Oppo has only revealed the prices of the Oppo Reno 2 and the Reno 2Z so far, while the India price of the Reno 2F will be revealed later. The Chinese smartphone maker has priced the Reno 2Z at Rs. 29,990 in India, and it is the more affordable model of the two already available…
