Did you pop in Final Fantasy XV only to hitch your Regalia permanently to Galdin Quay? Did you halt progress in Sea of Stars in an effort to filet every single species known to man? If you’re a total fishing freak, there’s an open-world action-RPG on the way for you called Sea Fantasy.  Developed by METASLA, Sea Fantasy is a top-down game with a pixel art aesthetic that promises an “Otherworldly Fishing Open World RPG.” It also says you can “save the world by fishing!,” which might not sound quite as chill as…

Reynatis is a new action RPG from FuRyu arriving this fall – Destructoid

FuRyu and Natsume Atari have announced that action RPG Reynatis will be arriving in North America this Fall. It’s set for Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC. The press release makes a big deal about Reynatis being set in a “painstakingly-recreated streets of Shibuya, Tokyo.” A trailer was released alongside the announcement. It’s one of the most ridiculous videos I think I’ve seen since the new Death Stranding reveal. It shows Shibuya government police wizards that maybe fight drug addicts.…

Skyrim enemies can now outsmart your cheesy long range attacks with this clever mod

If there’s one thing many of us know about Skyrim, it’s that the NPCs are not the brightest around. Enemy AI is usually pretty easy to manipulate, but this one modder decided that better NPC reactions make for a better experience. Back once again with another of their trademark TES5 improvements, Nexus Mods user JaySerpa has made it so Skyrim enemies are a little bit smarter during fights. If you’re the kind of Dragonborn that likes to cheese bandits and the like, you may have to rethink your approaches from now on.…

Binding of Isaac dev’s cat-breeding RPG Mewgenics won’t be out anytime soon

In his recent Steam blog post about the current state of Mewgenics, the upcoming cat-breeding turn-based RPG, Edward McMillen spoke frankly on why it’s taking so long for it to come out: he’s trying to avoid another Bumbo and Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ situation, given their rough day one state. “Two of my worst launches,” McMillen claims, explaining that “both launches went wrong because we locked a release date too early then crunched too hard to hit it.” This will not be the case with Mewgenics, he says, as he…
