Vue cinemas will cancel all films to air live coverage of the Queen’s funeral on Monday

Vue cinemas across the country will not show previously scheduled films on Monday 19 September and will, instead, show coverage of the Queen’s funeral. In an announcement made on Tuesday (13 September), the popular cinema chain announced that it would be airing the monarch’s funeral in select venues. Dashcam: Vue denies cancelling every screening of Dashcam due to its ‘offensive’ contents

Vue has denied cancelling screenings of a brand new horror film due to it’s “offensive” content.On Wednesday (1 June), a screenshot of what appeared to an email from a Vue employee was shared online by Rob Savage, the director of Dashcam.The email, seemingly sent to a customer who had purchased a ticket to see Dashcam, claimed that all screenings were cancelled “due to the contents of the movie, which may offend our audience”.However, in a statement to The Independent, a Vue spokesperson said:“Our decision not to screen…
