The Tata Punch micro-SUV is undoubtedly the most popular vehicle in its segment, and despite being out for a couple of years, its popularity does not seem to fade away. The company, in order to capitalize on its name, is reportedly already working on the CNG and EV iterations of this vehicle, and they will likely debut them by the end of this year. Taking note of the popularity of this micro-SUV, one of the many talented artists from the country decided to create a video rendering of this micro-SUV reimagined as an extremely hardcore racing car. Spoiler alert: this thing looks out of this world.

The video rendering of the Tata Punch, reimagined as an extreme racecar, has been shared on YouTube by Bagrawala Designs on their channel. Bagrawala Designs is an extremely talented artist who specializes in creating realistic renders of popular cars and also creates renders from spy shots of upcoming cars. In this video, the artist has taken the simple family micro-SUV and converted it into something radical.

The first thing that can be instantly noticed is the extension of the car’s width. The entire car has been given a massive widebody kit, which extends the width of the car by a huge margin over the standard version. The front bumper has been completely redesigned and made extremely aggressive. It also boasts some extreme aero, and the bonnet has been changed to a carbon fiber unit as well.

Moving on to the side, the massive fender flares and side skirts, finished in carbon fiber, capture the eyes. Additionally, a set of immensely wide aero wheels has been added to this racecar. Moving on to the rear, it can be noted that the most extreme makeover has been done in this area. The car has been given a ginormous chassis-mounted rear wing. Furthermore, a set of radiator fans has been added for extra cooling. Moving down below, it can be noted that the car has also been fitted with quad exhaust tips and an extremely aggressive rear bumper with a massive rear diffuser finished in carbon fiber.

In other Tata Punch news, an undisguised test mule of the Punch iCNG, the CNG iteration of this micro-SUV, was recently spotted testing in the country. The test mule sported a secret emblem on the right side of the PUNCH name, according to a new spy photo of the Tata Punch. Additionally, it was obvious that this automobile was the CNG version of the model since the spare tire was located below the back area of the vehicle rather than in the boot. Similar to the Altroz i-CNG, the Punch i-CNG will be equipped with cutting-edge twin-cylinder CNG technology created by Tata Motors. It will have the same 1.2L Revotron engine that powers the Altroz i-CNG, which has a maximum power output of 73.5 PS and a maximum torque output of 103 Nm.

Furthermore, rumors and spy shots of the Tata Punch EV have also surfaced on the internet recently. It is expected that the company will offer it with its Ziptron technology, which also powers the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and Nexon EV. There are multiple battery packs available that deliver different ranges. For the recently launched Tiago EV, the company offers the hatchback with a 24 kWh battery pack that delivers an MIDC-certified range of 315 km. And there is also a smaller 19.2 kWh battery pack available, which gets an MIDC-certified range of 250 km. Most likely, these numbers will be retained by the Tata Punch EV as well.
