Tata Safari owner explains what she feels about Scorpio N

Mahindra Scorpio N is currently one of the talked about SUVs in the market. Deliveries for the SUV have started and we have also started seeing ownership review videos of Scorpio N. Here we have a video where a Tata Safari owner is seen driving a Scorpio N. In this video, she shares he thought, positives and negatives about Tata Safari when compared to Mahindra Scorpio N.

The video has been uploaded by DDS on their YouTube channel. In this video vlogger who owns a Mahindra Scorpio N talks to a Tata Safari owner. She had recently updgraded from a Hyundai Santro to Tata Safari. She has done over 9,000 km on the Safari and vlogger who owns the Scorpio N automatic 4×4 wanted to know her opinion about the SUV. The video starts with Tata Safari owner where she talks about the reasons why she opted for Safari. She mentions that she wanted to buy an SUV and she was confused between Safari and XUV700 at that time. She did test drive both the SUVs and was impressed with the XUV700 but it had long waiting periods.

That is why she opted for Safari and she is very happy with the vehicle. She soon gets into Mahindra Scorpio N and starts driving it. First thing that she notices in Scorpio is that it offers a much more commanding driving position than Safari. The ORVMs are large and also she can see the road ahead very clearly. It is definitely taller and she had to climb up to be in the driver seat. Soon after driving the SUV, the Safari owner mentions that Scorpio N feels more SUVish to drive on the road. She felt that the seats were a bit more comfortable on her Safari.

She also mentions that the cabin in Scorpio N feels a bit more premium when compared to Safari. She mentions that the Scorpio N feels very comfortable on the road for a ladder on frame SUV. She even drives the Scorpio N on bad road sections and was very happy with the suspension set up. Safari owner talks about how the car was handling well at higher speeds. The steering was light at lower speeds and weighs up well as the speed increases in Scorpio N. She even mentions that she might even be a lot more comfortable for long road trips.

She then starts talking about things that she hopes could have been better in her Safari. She mentions that Scorpio N is offering a lot more legroom for the driver and her knees are not rubbing or hitting any panels which is quite common in Safari and Harrier. The other issue that she is facing with Safari is the infotainment system. She even requests Tata to update the infotainment system as it is too small and also not very responsive. Apart from that, she was very happy with the Safari overall. She did mention how Tata has to improve aftersales and service but, that is something which applies for Mahindra as well. Overall, she was very impressed with Scorpio N and she mentions that it would have increased her confusion, if it was on offer when she was planning to buy Safari.
