0 86

Tata Motors is one of the leading car manufacturer in India and Safari is currently their flagship model in the market. The Safari as we all know is based on its popular 5-seater SUV Harrier. Tata Safari quickly became a popular choice among buyers because of its looks, price and the legendary Safari name. Tata is offering decent number of features with the SUV but it is not probably the most feature loaded SUV in its class. In order to make it look a lot more premium, there are several aftermarket accessories available in the market for Tata Safari. Here we have one such video where a Tata Safari SUV has been modified into GT Line.

The video has been uploaded by Rohit Mehta Sai Auto Accessories on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks about all the changes or modifications that have been done on the SUV. The SUV seen here in the video is not a top-end variant. The car has been modified both outside and inside. Starting with the front, the Safari gets an aftermarket bumper kit installed on it. This gives the SUV a much more muscular look from the front. The headlamps on this Safari have also been upgraded. The SUV now gets projector HID headlamps for low beam and LED units for high beam. The fog lamps are LED too.

A Safari moniker is placed on the bonnet as well. Coming to the side profile, the SUV now gets a side step. The step in finished in dual-tone. The ORVMs are blacked out from the factory but, the pillars are now wrapped in black . The roof gets the body colour and the massive panoramic sunroof is visible as well. Other than this, no major changes have been done to the exterior of the car. Moving in, the car came with fabric seats and door pads from factory as this was a lower variant. This was all replaced and customised to look premium or like a higher variant.

The fabric on the door pads have been replaced with leather upholstery. The cabin gets brown leather upholstery which is inspired from higher variants of Safari or Harrier. The steering wheel of the SUV have been wrapped in leather. The fabric seat covers in SUV have been replaced with custom made seat covers with custom pattern on it. The fit and finish of the seat covers is good. The Safari comes with touchscreen infotainment system and it was retained but, it now gets active ambient lights installed on door and dashboard. The brightness and colour of the light can be controlled using a mobile application.

All the windows and windshields of the SUV have been wrapped with clear heat rejection films. Other than this, the speaker set up on this SUV have also been upgraded for a premium experience. Tata Safari is available with a diesel engine option only. It is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine that generates 170 Ps and 350 Nm of peak torque. The SUV is offered with both manual and automatic transmission.
