The Blockchain Writing Contest 2022: Final Results Announced!

0 111

In the FIRST place, we have Blockchain Explained – For Noobs by @zartaj. The SECOND place goes to Metamask – Is It Really A Wallet? by @moderneremite. In the THIRD place, we have Understanding the Blockchain: The Foundation of Cryptocurrency by @infinity.

The wait is over! The final results announcement of the Blockchain Writing Contest brought to you by HackerNoon and Tatum is here! The #blockchain writing contest has scored the highest number of submissions to date! During the span of 6 months, we published 500+ stories, generating more than half a million reads and over 2 months of reading time!

This is what we love about the writing contest – it’s a HUGE win for the sponsor as they own the tag (in this case, the mighty #blockchain tag) on HackerNoon, it’s a win for our community, as their stories get rewarded, and it’s a win for HackerNoon as we get to publish fantastic stories on HackerNoon.

Kudos to our sponsor Tatum. Hats off to the HackerNoon blockchain community.

“I like this because of the timeline included in there and this goes a bit more in-dept into the history, structure and specifics of the blockchain as well as potential use cases for a very rounded out article for those new to the topic” – HackerNoon Editor.

Congratulations, @zartaj, on taking first place and winning 500 USDT!!

“This starts off as a really good tongue-in-cheek look at Metamask and how it functions and whether it should be called a wallet at all, and also provides some really good analogies. The writing style is very interesting and engaging, and draws in the reader. Love the use of gifs throughout.” – HackerNoon Editor

@moderneremite, You have won 300 USDT for winning second place; great job!!!

“Buffett choking out Elon!? How is that not the best image of all time. This story should win all the awards.
In all seriousness though, this is a good introduction to the Blockchain from a novice’s POV of learning about it from scratch. Had good infographics in it as well.” – HackerNoon Editor

Congratulations to @infinity, You have won 100 USDT!!

Congratulations to @moderneremite for an amazing story and the double victory!

Congratulations again to all the winners. We will contact y’all shortly. Keep an eye on contests.hackernoon.com to see the current and upcoming writing contests!
