He even shared a photo showing a less visible crease on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 against the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
However, this is a rather imprudent solution to the problem. Samsung explicitly warns users against removing the screen protector. It is part of the display assembly and helps keep the main display panel safe from scratches and other external forces. The company didn’t include any such warning on the original Galaxy Fold and it ended in a disaster. Many reviewers reported broken or malfunctioning folding screens after removing the pre-applied protector. This fiasco delayed the market debut of the first-ever Samsung foldable.
Considering all this, it may not be a wise idea to do something that the manufacturer recommends not doing. You may end up damaging your $1,800 phone.
