We’ve seen several Nothing Phone (2) concept designs thus far, and the latest one actually prompted a reaction from Carl Pei. For those of you who are unaware, Carl Pei is Nothing’s founder and CEO.

A new Nothing Phone (2) concept appeared, and Carl Pei reacted

Having said that, this particular concept comes from ‘Shea’, and was published on both YouTube and Twitter. The YouTube video is embedded below the article, and Carl Pei’s response ended up on Twitter.

Nothing’s founder wrote the following: “Stellar work, making our jobs harder”, and added an emoticon next to that. He seems to have fun watching these concepts, as designers have all sorts of different ideas.

This phone looks similar to the Nothing Phone (1), but it’s easy to differentiate

Now, this particular video has a duration of one minute, approximately, and it shows a device similar to the Nothing Phone (1). This phone does have an extra camera on the back, with a triangle alignment.

The LED lights are once again included on the back, and have stayed in the same places, for the most part. The sides are flat all around, and the edges are chamfered, as you’d expect.

The power/lock button sits on the right side, while the volume up and down buttons are separated, and placed on the left side. This handset is shown in both white and black colors in the provided video.

It has uniform bezels, and they’re quite thin too

The display bezels are uniform, and they’re quite thin. You’ll notice a display camera hole is also included, as it’s centered at the top of the display. That’s basically everything shown here.

Nothing launched its very first smartphone, the Nothing Phone (1), in July last year. Its successor, the Nothing Phone (2), is expected to arrive around the same time this year. The design will likely be similar to the first-gen model, but the second-gen product will be considerably more powerful.
