MasterCard introduced the Crypto Source, a new program that will facilitate financial institutions to bring secure crypto trading capabilities and services to their customers. The company has partnered up with regulated and licensed crypto custody providers, in an attempt to gain full access to a comprehensive suite of buy, hold, and sell services for select crypto assets.

Ripple developers are currently testing an Ethereum-compatible sidechain, a bridge that will connect it to the XRP ledger’s mainnet. The XRPL is now live but is still in an early phase. The sidechain deploys the coding language Solidify, the same code that is used to program applications and smart contracts on the Ethereum network and other EVM blockchains.
