Lenovo-owned Motorola is set to expand its Razr series with two new smartphones on June 1. One of the foldable smartphones is said to be the Razr 40 Ultra. The phone has surfaced online in the past and now, a leaked video ad has purportedly revealed the upcoming Razr 40 Ultra smartphone.

The 44-second video was posted by tipster Evan Blass Twitter and it reveals themostly all the aspects of the phone.

Earlier, the tipster also shared a set of leaked images, short marketing videos and the codenames of the two rumoured foldable smartphones (Juno and Venus) of the upcoming lineup. The confirmed launch date of the Moto Razr 2023 series suggests that these smartphones are expected to arrive before Google’s Pixel Fold ships to customers. These foldable smartphones are also likely to arrive ahead of the rumoured launch of Samsung’s next Z Fold and Z Flip phones.

Moto Razr 2023 series: What to expect
The company is yet to reveal the price or key specs of the upcoming smartphone. However, a Motorola executive revealed the outer screen will measure 3.5 inches. As per an earlier tweet by Blass, one of the phones in the lineup is expected to be named the Razr 40 Ultra globally but may be branded as Razr+ in the US. The tipster also mentioned that there will be no “Razr Lite,” smartphone but a vanilla “Razr 40,” variant.

Rumours also suggest that the smartphone may house a dual rear camera setup which will also include the LED flash in a first-of-its-kind external punch-hole arrangement. The Moto Razr 40 Ultra is also expected to sport a foldable AMOLED that may support a 1080p resolution, while the cover screen will support a 1056 x 1066 pixels resolution.

Apart from this, the Ultra variant is also rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset which may be coupled with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The smartphone may also have a dual SIM variant along with eSIM capabilities.
