The wait has now ended as both models are widely receiving the big update stateside. The new firmware build number for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is F946U1UEU1BWK9 while that for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is F731U1UEU1BWK9. Samsung has bundled the November 2023 security patch with the Android 14 update for the two foldables. It has already released the December patch for a few other models, including the Galaxy S23 series.
The foldable duo may receive this month’s security patch with a separate update in the coming weeks. It contains fixes for more than 60 vulnerabilities, at least seven of which are critical issues.
