In the tests held in December of last year, the Scorpio-N managed to score 29.25 out of 34 in adult occupant protection, while it received 28.94 out of 48 in child occupant protection. The Mahindra Scorpio-N also performed very well for side impact, which is done under the new test protocol.
Mahindra’s Future Plans
In response to the safety concerns raised by the ANCAP assessment, it has been reported that Mahindra has announced its plans to incorporate ADAS safety features. The company stated that as part of a ‘mid-life update’ of the Scorpio-N, the company will offer the SUV with ADAS and other collision avoidance safety features.

The list of ADAS features offered with this SUV includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Breaking, and so on.
