You Need To See This Iconic The Last Of Us Location Recreated In The Sims 4

The Sims 4 fan-creators never fail to amaze, and Simmer Isambardy is no exception. As first reported by Eurogamer, Isambardy has dedicated their efforts to creating a replica of Bill’s Town as seen in the PlayStation-exclusive-turned-HBO-series The Last of Us–and it’s seriously impressive.

Using a single 64×64 lot, Isambardy first created Bill’s house before expanding to include a sizable chunk of Lincoln. This includes a handful of nearby homes, the church, and the town’s ultra-fortified exterior, barbed wire and all. According to Eurogamer, Isambardy wanted to add the pit Frank takes a tumble into as well, but lacked room in the area just outside the town’s walls.

Though Isambardy’s recreation isn’t perfectly to scale, the creator managed to capture many of the town’s defining characteristics and locations. The interior of Bill’s home is particularly impressive, with furniture and wallpaper that will feel all too familiar to those who (tearfully) watched episode 3 of the hit series. The home also included Bill’s underground bunker, complete with surveillance equipment. And yes, there’s even room for growing strawberries in the backyard.

The lot is currently available to download through The Sims 4 gallery using the gallery ID Isambardy, and considering The Sims 4 community has created an impressive amount of post-apocalyptic mods over the years, I’d say the game is primed and ready for players to offer up their own take on The Last of Us… though maybe don’t make all the cute and cuddly infants coming in the game’s next expansion suffer through the end of times–or their parents, for that matter. None of them deserve that.

In The Last of Us news, the HBO show’s season finale is set to air this Sunday. In our review of the show, we applauded how well the series stuck to the game while also expanding its story in profound ways. The show has also been a hit with audiences, with the most recent episode setting the viewership record for the series. HBO has confirmed a second season is on the way, and that the cast and crew could begin filming as early as later this year.
