Go into the settings and find the Advanced Functions button. From there, scroll down to the Side Key option. There, you’ll see a page where you can choose what additional functions you want to add to the power button.

Tap on the Wake Bixby option and you’ll summon Bixby instead. You’ll be able to talk to Bixby like you would a walkie-talkie. When you do that, holding the power button and the volume-down button will bring up the power menu.

You can take a screenshot with your palm

You can take a screenshot by simply swiping the side of your palm across the screen. Go to your settings, find the Advanced Functions option again, and go to Motion and Gestures. From there, scroll to the very bottom and you’ll see an option called Palm swipe to capture. Flip the switch on.

To take the screenshot, slide the side of your palm from one end of the phone to the other. Just let the bulk of your palm touch the screen and not any of your fingers.

Don’t want to use your hands? You can take screenshots with your voice

If you want to take a screenshot using Bixby, you can do that. If you have Bixby set up to wake using your voice, just say “Hey Bixby, take a screenshot”. Just bear in mind that it will take just a few seconds for Bixby to actually take the shot.

When you press the search option in Samsung’s Gallery app, you’ll see the tags pop up on the top of the screen to help you search more quickly.
