Actor Fahadh Faasil is known for his acting style and the roles that he had played in several Malayalam movies. Just like his movies, the actor has a good taste in cars as well. He recently bought a Lamborghini Urus few months ago and now he has bought himself a brand new Mini Cooper Countryman. The picture of Fahadh Faasil taking delivery of his new Mini Cooper Countryman has already surfaced online. Mini Cooper is a popular car among celebs in India and we have featured some them on our website in the past.

The images of Fahadh Faasil’s Countryman were shared by eisk007 on Instagram. The actor is seen posing for photo with his Mini Countryman. His wife Nazriya Nazim, who is also an actor is not seen in the picture. From the picture that is available online, it looks like the actor has opted for Sage Green shade with black strips on the bonnet. Unlike other Minis, Countryman is a four door luxury hatchback and is longer and wider than the 2-door Mini Cooper hatchback. Although it is different, it is still unmistakably a Mini. The headlamp design is more squared than oval and it comes with a black border around it. The headlamps are projector LED units with integrated LED DRLs in it.

BMW used to sell Mini models as CBUs in India. In 2018, they started local assembly of these models which made these cars a lot more affordable than before. Mini now assembles cars in BMW India’s plant in Chennai. This does not make Mini Cooper Countryman a cheap car by any means, it still costs around Rs 42 lakh, ex-showroom for a brand new car. The Mini logo is placed on the bonnet just above the signature grille. The Mini Countryman gets muscular bumper with air vents and fog lamps on the lower portion. Just like at the front, the rear of the car also gets a buly look and there are all LED tail lamps with Union Jack design in it. Countryman badge can be seen on the tailgate as well.

After Lamborghini Urus, actor Fahadh Faasil buys a Mini Cooper Countryman luxury hatchback

Mini offers Countryman hatchback in two variants in India. There is regular Cooper S and Cooper S JCW version. It looks like the actor has bought the regular S variant. The Mini Countryman is powered by a 2.0 litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 189 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox as standard and it gets drive modes like – Sport and Green too. Mini Countryman is a front wheel drive car and it can do 0-100 kmph sprint in 7.2 seconds and has a top-speed of 225 Kmph.

On the inside, Mini Countryman offers a round touchscreen infotainment screen, multi-function steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, electric sunroof and so on. Other than the Lamborghini Urus and newly bought Countryman, Fahadh Faasil also has a Porsche 911 Carrera S sports car in Python Green colour. Like many other car makers, Mini has also started making electric cars and their Mini Cooper SE was launched in India in limited numbers earlier this year.
