Apple product roadmap details

  • Other than the new iPhones, Apple is planning to launch OLED iPads this year, according to tipster Revegnus who sourced the information from Samsung securities. There will be two OLED iPad models with 11-inch and 13-inch displays.
  • This is in line with previous rumours about OLED iPads coming this year. Apple’s 2024 roadmap also mentions the Vision Pro, which was commercially launched this year in February.
  • 2025 is when we’ll finally see the iPhone SE 4 according to this leak. It’s said to feature a 6.1-inch OLED display and house a 48MP primary camera. An iPhone SE 4 has been rumoured for quite some time now but it looks like we might not see it launch even this year.

  • The highly mysterious “foldable iPhone” will launch in 2026 along with OLED MacBooks and iPads. The foldable iPhone is tipped to feature a 6-inch cover display and an 8-inch foldable screen.
  • The OLED MacBook will launch in 14-inch and 16-inch models, while the OLED iPad Air will come in an 8.4-inch model and the OLED iPad Mini in 10.9-inch.
  • 2027 will be another big year for Apple as AR glasses, and a foldable iPad is expected. This will be a 20-inch foldable iPad and a 1.4-inch RGB micro OLED or micro LED for Apple’s AR glasses.

The products listed in the roadmap have been rumoured for Apple but it’s best to wait, and not jump to any conclusions without more concrete evidence. Especially for devices like the foldable iPhone and foldable iPad. What’s expected the earliest from Apple are new iPads that could launch this month or early April.

Apple is expected to launch revamped iPad Pro models, and new iPad Air models as well. Joining these will be a Magic Keyboard and an upgraded Apple Pencil. There might be four iPad models with two from the Pro series and two from the Air series. The biggest upgrade in the new iPads will be OLED displays, and a 12.9-inch iPad Air for the first time.
