Actress Annie Wersching, the actress best-known for her roles in popular television shows like TV and Bosch, has lost her long battle with cancer. According to Deadline, she passed away on January 29.

Her husband Stephen Full issued a statement. It reads in part: “There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall.”

Wersching was a prolific television actress, appearing in notable shows like General Hospital, The Vampire Diaries, Timeless, and Star Trek: Enterprise. In the world of video games, however, she is better-known as the voice of The Last Of Us Part 1’s Tess, a role that she was celebrated for at the game’s original release. Wersching was privately diagnosed with an unspecified cancer in mid-2020, though she continued to appear in roles in The Rookie and Star Trek: Picard, where she played the Borg Queen.

The Last Of Us developer Naughty Dog posted a memorial tweet to Wersching, as well as a link to her family’s GoFundMe. The official Star Trek website also posted its own tribute.
