Ari Lennox Links With Summer Walker on New Single “Queen Space”
In preparation for her heavily anticipated sophomore album, age/sex/location, Ari Lennox has teamed up with Summer Walker for her latest single, “Queen Space.”
Ahead of the release of the track, Dreamville co-founder and J. Cole’s manager Ib Hamad shared a video of Ari in the studio with Cole and producer Elite putting the song together.
“I just remembered I had my camera with me when Cole linked up with Ari and Elite to finish up Queen Space 🤦🏽♂️,” Ib tweeted. “I love this shot and the excitement Cole has everytime he hears this song so I had to share this clip atleast. Queen Space @arilennox x @IAMSUMMERWALKER dropping in 30min.”
“I can’t wait till this shit come out,” Cole can be heard saying in the video. His sentiments are mirrored by many Lennox fans, and “Queen Space” does not disappoint.
Ari and Summer have linked up before, on Walker’s 2021 track “Unloyal,” and “Queen Space” finds both elite vocalists using the chemistry they’ve developed to string together another beautiful ballad. Like the touching message she sent Cole about what age/sex/location means to her, the new single reflects being firmly grounded in self-love and not wasting our time or energy on the wrong people.
