As ‘The Flash’ Tickets Go on Sale, James Gunn Will Not Rest Until You Know How ‘Magnificent’ It Is

The hype train for The Flash continues to get bigger and bigger. You know a studio has a lot of faith in a movie when its star goes wild and they still keep the movie going. You know a movie might be great when even Stephen King is singing its praises. Keeping his foot on the gas, DC co-studio head James Gunn also needs you to know it’s a great movie.

Gunn shared a link to buy tickets to the movie now that they’re finally on sale. Get tickets now!, he said.

A little bit later, someone praised The Flash script writer Christina Hodson, saying she did a “brilliant job.” Not to be outdone, Gunn agreed with compliments of his own.

Gunn is far from the only one singing the film’s praises. DC God Zack Snyder also gave his thoughts on the film, calling it the “Best. DC. Movie. Ever. #snyderverseisover”

All of the hype makes The Flash one of the most anticipated superhero movies in a long time. We also know a lot more about the plot than we did when this movie was originally announced back in the 1800s.

After King sang the movie’s praises, Gunn made sure to reply to that as well. King said the movie was “special,” “heartfelt, funny, and eye-popping.” Someone asked if Gunn agreed with King.

With Gunn done at Marvel (for the time being, anyway), The Flash could really jumpstart Gunn’s plans for the DCU in a real way. Could this be the time when Marvel is finally dethroned as the superhero shaman who can’t miss? Or is it finally time for DC to take that crown? Time will tell, but The Flash being a hit makes it all that much more likely.
