Audi debuts limited-run RS6 Avant GT, paying homage to V8 power with aerodynamic tweaks, carbon-fiber features, and retro-inspired design.

Audi has introduced the RS6 Avant GT, a limited-edition tribute to its powerful V8 super-estate, marking the beginning of its extensive electrification efforts.

With only 660 units available worldwide, this special version boasts performance-boosting aero enhancements, custom carbon-fiber body parts, retro design, and a notable price bump compared to the standard model.

Taking inspiration from the 2020 RS6 GTO concept, crafted by Audi apprentices, the RS6 Avant GT is a road-legal evolution based on the top-tier Performance version of the RS6. Notably, it becomes the first Audi to incorporate carbon fiber for the bonnet, wing, and wheels.

True to its roots, the RS6 Avant GT mirrors the GTO concept with its distinct livery, available in two exclusive paint schemes: one in white, grey, and red with matching white wheels, and another in sleek grey and black, as reported by Autocar.

Performance gets a boost with aerodynamic enhancements including a motorsport-inspired double wing, a functional rear diffuser, and a more aggressive front splitter, all aimed at enhancing speed. Even the roof rails have been ditched for a sleeker profile. Inside, the 22-inch wheels are aerodynamically optimized, while various interior components sport ‘RS6 GT’ insignias.

The cabin highlights include Dinamica suede-like upholstery, highlighted by red and bronze stitching on seats, steering wheel, and floor mats. Each car comes with a special plaque indicating its unique model number.

To enhance agility in Dynamic mode, the suspension and rear differential have been tweaked, lowering the car by 10mm and stiffening the coilovers.

Under the hood, this limited-edition marvel packs the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine as its standard counterpart, delivering an impressive 630 bhp and 848 Nm of torque to all four wheels.

Thanks to lightweight materials and aerodynamic refinements, acceleration from 0 to 100kph is now achieved in just 3.3 seconds, while 0 to 200kph takes a mere 11.5 seconds, making it 0.1 and 1.5 seconds quicker, respectively. Its top speed is electronically limited to 305kph.
