Amazon, major publishers win dismissal of antitrust lawsuits over book pricing

A federal judge dismissed two antitrust lawsuits accusing Amazon.com Inc and five large publishers of illegally conspiring to fix US prices of electronic and traditional books, causing consumers and bookstores to pay more. Micron warns of tougher times, plans to cut investments by 30%

Micron Technology, the first major chipmaker to sound an alarm about falling demand for PCs and smartphones earlier this year, warned of even tougher times ahead and said it was cutting its investments. "We made significant reductions to capex and now expect fiscal 2023 capex to be around $8 billion, down more than 30% year over year," Chief Executive Sanjay Mehrotra said on an earnings call. Senior Indonesian officials targeted by spyware last year, claim sources

More than a dozen senior Indonesian government and military officials were targeted last year with spy software designed by an Israeli surveillance firm, according to nine people with knowledge of the matter. Six of the individuals told Reuters they were targeted themselves.
