Ramkrishna Yadav, who is now popularly known as Baba Ramdev has upgraded from his Mahindra XUV700 to Land Rover Defender 130. Ramdev was spotted driving the new Defender 130, which looks fresh from the showroom. The SUV even does not have registration plates on it.

The video of the new Defender shows Ramdev in the driving sear. This is the Sedona Red colour option of the Land Rover Defender, which is not available with the 110 variant. The new 2023 Defender 130 was launched earlier this year in India and the deliveries began recently.

The price of Defender 130 starts at Rs 1.3 crore and goes up to Rs 1.41 crore. We are not sure about the exact variant that Ramdev has bought for himself.

The Defender 130 was launched as the extended version of the Defender 110, boasting the same wheelbase while featuring an overall length increase of 340 mm to accommodate a third row of seats. It is based on the same platform but the length of the body is longer.

Exterior design and cabin layout remain identical to the Defender 110. Some of the features of the SUV include single-pod LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, a panoramic sunroof, 20-inch alloy wheels, and smoked tail lamps.

Stepping inside, the Defender 130 offers an array of amenities, such as an 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4-zone automatic climate control, 14-way electrically adjustable front seats with heating, cooling, and memory functions, and a 360-degree camera.

For the Indian market, Land Rover provides two engine options for the Defender 130. The first is a 3.0-litre petrol engine (P400) that produces 394 BHP and 550 Nm of torque, while the second is a 3.0-litre diesel engine (D300) that delivers 296 BHP and 600 Nm of torque. Both engines come paired with mild-hybrid technology and a four-wheel-drive system.

Baba Ramdev also owns Mahindra XUV700

Industrialist and Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, who operates a conglomerate worth thousands of crores, recently took delivery of a brand-new Mahindra XUV700. A video surfaced, showing Ramdev driving around in the new car alongside his colleagues.

While Baba Ramdev has been seen riding motorcycles in the past, this was the first time he was spotted driving a car. It appears that he tested the XUV700 within the compound of a building.

The specific variant details of the XUV700 driven by Baba Ramdev remain unknown, but it appears to be the top-end trim with a panoramic sunroof. Despite not owning any luxury cars himself, Baba Ramdev has been previously seen in a Jaguar XJ L, while his close aide Balkrishna owns a Land Rover Range Rover.

Baba Ramdev has a penchant for biking, having been spotted riding a Hero Impulse in the past. Moreover, he was once seen riding pillion on a Ducati Scrambler alongside Sadhguru.
