Streaming is not the cost-efficient miracle it once seemed. Just a few years ago, when Max (formerly HBO Max) and Netflix were really the only streamers around, cord-cutting was a great way to avoid paying $100 (or more) every month for cable or satellite. Now, however, other streamers have entered the fray with their own buzzy programming, from Hulu to Paramount+, and major studios have launched their own streaming services with exclusive content. And with each of these services costing anywhere from $5 to $20, it’s very easy to rack up a streaming bill that’s close to, if not more than that pricey cable package.

In short, it’s not a cheap endeavor to watch the shows, movies, and live events everyone is talking about — whether it’s The Little Mermaid on Disney+, The Kardashians on Hulu, or UFC on ESPN+. Luckily, with a little bit of digging, you can find deals on most of the major streaming services. Below, we’ve rounded up some of the best streaming deals to take advantage of right now.

Best Streaming Deals: Promos, Discounts (Updated January 2024)

Discounts and promos on streaming services can be tricky to find (if available at all), and they’re almost always available for a limited time only. We’ve rounded up the best streaming deals available right now on services from Hulu to Paramount+, Prime Video to Max. Follow our links to claim the offers for yourself.

Best Hulu + Live TV Deal

If you’ve cut the cord but still want to watch live TV, there’s never been a better time to sign up for a Hulu + Live TV subscription. Hulu + Live TV gets you access to Hulu’s on-demand movies and series plus more than 90 live television channels so you can watch everything from live sports to your favorite shows from home. Hulu currently has a promotion that gets you a Hulu + Live TV plan for just $76.99. Even better: the deal gets you Hulu (on-demand), Live TV streaming, Disney+ and ESPN+ included in the monthly fee.

Best Hulu Deals

If you just want to subscribe to Hulu on its own, the streamer offers a 30-day free trial for its on-demand service (with ads). Sign-up for the free trial here.

Another way to get Hulu for free: T-Mobile customers can get “Hulu on Us.” Hulu is joining Apple TV+, Netflix and MLB.TV as the fourth free streaming service that is included as part of T-Mobile’s “Go5G Next Plan.” See if your current T-Mobile plan qualifies or sign up for the streaming deal here.

Best Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ Deals

Love Hulu but want to sign-up for other streamers as well? The best streaming deal online is the Disney Bundle, which includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ together for just $14.99 a month. That’s a savings of 44% per month on your streaming bill versus going with each service individually.

The Disney Bundle is offered in three tiers: Duo Basic, which costs $9.99 a month and gets you Disney+ and Hulu (both with ads); Trio Basic, which costs $14.99 a month and gets you all three services (with ads); and the Trio Premium, which costs $24.99 a month and gets you all three (with no ads).

If you just want a discount on Disney+ (without Hulu and ESPN+), head here. Right now, you can snag a membership for $7.99 a month.

ESPN+ on its own, meantime, costs $10.99 a month. But you can get a discount by springing for the ESPN+ annual plan, which costs $109.99 — that’s a savings of 17%.

Best Paramount+ Deals

With hit series like 1923, live sports from NFL to the NCAA, and blockbusters like Top Gun: Maverick, Paramount+ has made itself well worth signing up for. It’s already a great deal at just $5.99 a month with a seven-day free trial, or $11.99 a month for Paramount+ with Showtime, which also includes a seven-day free trial.

You can also save on Paramount+ by paying annually, which brings the monthly prices down to $5 and $10 respectively. And if you’re a student you can bring that price down even further, as Paramount+ offers students a 25% discount on their subscription.

Best Peacock Deals

NBC’s Peacock is another solid streaming service that’s normally on the affordable side at $5.99 a month for a Premium ad-supported plan or $11.99 a month for a Premium Plus ad-free plan. However, we recommend going with the annual subscription ($59.99 for ad-supported, $119.99 for ad-free), as this will save you 17% over the year.

Best Amazon Prime Video Deals

Amazon Prime Video’s 30-day free trial is already one of the best deals in streaming, but there are more ways to save on the service.

Some Prime Video users also don’t realize that you can get the streaming service separately from a full Prime membership. Prime Video à la carte costs just $8.99 a month, which saves $6 a month compared to paying for a full Prime membership. Like most streaming services, you can also save on your Prime subscription by paying for a year up-front at $149, saving you about $40 over the course of the year.

Best Max Deals

Max is home to some of the year’s best exclusive content, from The Last of Us to series like Fixer Upper. But Max rarely offers deals, and you can’t get a free trial through the streamer’s website. However, you can get Max courtesy of wireless carrier Cricket. If you need a new phone plan, check out Cricket’s Unlimited phone plan, which costs $60 a month and comes with Max for free.

Access to Max starts at $9.99 a month, but you can get a discount on your Max subscription by paying for a year up-front ($99 for the ad-supported plan, $149 for the ad-free plan), which can save as much as 20% compared to paying month-to-month.

While Amazon used to offer a Max free trial through Prime Video, Max currently does not have any free trial offers available.

Best Starz Deals

Starz is a great place to find shows like Power, P-Valley, Hightown and more. Regularly $9.99 a month, Starz has a current promo that gets you six months of streaming for just $20. That’s a whopping 67% discount — no promo code needed.

Want to test out the service before you commit? Starz has a 7-day free trial through Amazon Prime here.
