Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan buys his first Rolls Royce

Shahrukh Khan, who is referred to as the King or the Badshah of Bollywood, recently acquired a brand new luxury SUV for himself. The Bollywood superstar bought a Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge worth Rs. 8.2 crores, ex-showroom. Shahrukh Khan treated himself to a Cullinan finished in a shade of Arctic White, and it has been reported that the actor himself sat down to complete options for the car and create a bespoke masterpiece for himself.

As mentioned, the actor has chosen the classy shade of Arctic White for his Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge. It has also been reported that he has opted for a stunning all-white leather interior with Cobalto blue accents for the interior. Apparently, this is the third Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge delivered in the country, with the first one being delivered to Naseer Khan in Hyderabad and the second one to Bhubaneswar, Orissa.

The Rolls Royce Black Badge family currently comprises variations of the Ghost, Wraith, and Dawn, and the Cullinan Black Badge. Over the standard Cullinan, the Black Badge model features dark chrome elements on the Spirit of Ecstasy, and the “Double R” badge is silver-on-black, located on the front, sides, and rear of the vehicle. Darkened chrome is used on the front grille surround, side frame finishers, boot handle, boot trim, lower air intake finisher, and exhaust pipes as well. The SUV comes equipped with 22-inch forged alloy wheels and contrasting red brake calipers.

The Cullinan Black Badge is powered by the same 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, now generating 600 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. Comparing the power stats to the normal Cullinan, there has been an increase of 29bhp and 50Nm. All four wheels receive power from an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Earlier last year, Shahrukh Khan also bought a brand-new Mercedes Benz S-Class. He opted for the S 350d 4MATIC variant, which costs Rs. 1.59 crores ex-showroom. The new luxury saloon is registered to his name, and he opted for a white shade. Mercedes-Benz also sells another variant of the S-Class called the S450 4MATIC, which is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine and gets a 48V mild hybrid assistance. The engine produces 367 hp of max power and 500 Nm of peak torque. The mild-hybrid system produces 22 hp of max power and 250 Nm of peak torque. It also has a top speed of 250 kmph but can hit a ton in just 5.1 seconds.

There is another variant, the S350d, which is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 286 hp of max power and 600 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to an automatic transmission only. The S350d has a top speed of 250 kmph and can hit 100 kmph in 6.4 seconds. The S Class is the flagship sedan from Mercedes-Benz and comes with all the bells and whistles that one can imagine. There are LED headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps, flush sitting door handles, panoramic sunroof, keyless go, lightweight alloy wheels, and split LED tail lamps.
