The pictures of the iconic singer taking delivery with his family have been shared online. The actor has chosen the most expensive electric vehicle offered by the German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz in India. The Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 is priced at Rs 1.55 crore and has a claimed driving range of 857 kilometres.
The pictures of Shaan and his family celebrating the delivery of their all-electric luxury sedan have been shared on Instagram by AutoHangar. Shaan has chosen the classy shade of Sodalite Blue for his Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 EV. He arrived at the dealership with his wife, Radhika Mukherji, and his son, Soham Mukherji. All three were seen excitedly taking the covers off of the new Mercedes-Benz electric sedan at the dealership. Radhika Mukherji also performed the Hindu rituals to welcome their new vehicle. This sedan was launched back in September of 2022 in the country, and since then, the company has delivered a number of these all-electric sedans in India. Apart from its massive price tag of Rs 1.62 crore, the biggest highlight of the EQS is its massive 107.8 kWh battery pack. This is the biggest battery pack ever seen on an electric car in India. According to Mercedes-Benz, the EQS EV sedan has a claimed driving range of 857 km. What’s even more impressive is that with a fast charger, it can be charged from 0-80 percent in just 31 minutes.
Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC is powered by two electric motors. One of them is mounted on the front axle and the other is on the rear. This makes it an AWD sedan, and the electric motors generate a combined power of 523 bhp and 856 Nm of peak torque. The car can do 0-100 kmph in just 4.2 seconds. The top speed of the electric sedan is limited to 210 kmph. As for the features, this luxury sedan that sits on the top of the lineup comes equipped with D maps, HUD, massage function for front seats, Burmester 3D sound system, air filtration, MBUX tablet for rear seat occupants, nine airbags, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking and a number of other luxury features.
