The newest iteration of Toyota’s popular MPV, the Innova Hycross, has amassed so much demand in the country that if you are interested in getting one, you’ll have to wait until 2025 if you book one today. The company also announced that it will not be taking any new bookings for the top-spec ZX variant of the Innova Hycross due to supply chain issues. As it stands, the Innova Hycross is Toyota Kirloskar Motors’ most in-demand model and has the longest waiting periods of any offering in the lineup.

Booking periods for the top-of-the-line variants have soared to 26 months. Furthermore, the non-hybrid petrol variants also have waiting periods in the range of six to seven months. The Innova Hycross comes with two powertrain options. The first option is a pure petrol powertrain that employs a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 173 bhp and 209 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the other drivetrain option also uses a 2.0-litre petrol engine, but it comes with a hybrid setup and generates a maximum of 184 bhp and 188 Nm of torque.

The standard petrol version comes paired with a CVT transmission, and the strong hybrid version is paired with an e-CVT gearbox. Toyota does not offer a manual gearbox with the Innova Hycross. Additionally, there is no diesel engine on offer. Toyota, however, still offers the Innova Crysta diesel in the market. The Innova Crysta diesel was recently relaunched in the market and is available with a manual transmission only. Toyota is offering a warranty of 3 years/100,000 kilometers and an option of extended warranty of up to 5 years/220,000 kilometers, 3 years of free roadside assistance, attractive financial schemes, and 8 years/160,000 kilometers warranty on the Hybrid battery.
