How to customize iPhone app icons
- Before beginning the process, you would need images for apps. There are applications that let you take their collection or you can create/search for individual images as well. Make sure to save these images.
- Go to the Shortcuts app. If you can’t see it, go to app library and type ‘Shortcuts’.
- Tap on the + sign on the menu and go to ‘New Shortcut 1′ you can also click on rename to give the app your own nickname.
- Tap on the ‘Add action’ button and type ‘Open app’ in the search bar of the next page.
- You will see the word ‘App’ next to Open in light blue shade. Tap on it.
- Now, you should see the list of apps you have installed. Pick the one you want to customize.
- Click the ‘i’ button at the bottom and choose ‘Add to Home Screen’.
- On the preview screen, tap under the ‘Home Screen Name and Icon’ option and choose your desired photo.
- You will see the new app design. If you’re happy with it, tap on Add.
- Your new icon should be present on the home screen. Enjoy!
