Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band are set to hit the road in 2023.

Springsteen announced this week that he and his bandmates will kick off a U.S. tour in February before heading overseas for a series of stadium shows beginning in April in Europe.

“After six years, I’m looking forward to seeing our great and loyal fans next year. And I’m looking forward to once again sharing the stage with the legendary E Street Band. See you out there, next year — and beyond,” Springsteen said in a statement.

The European shows launch April 28th in Barcelona, the announcement said. Other stops will include gigs in France, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and more. The European trek ends July 25 in Monza, Italy. Additional cities and shows in the U.K. and Belgium will be announced at a later date.

A second North American tour leg will get underway in August.

The 2023 shows will mark Springsteen’s first tour since he and the E Street Band wrapped their 14-month The River tour in Australia in February of 2017. After releasing Letter to You in late 2020, the group played Saturday Night Live in December of that year.

Last year, Springsteen relaunched his successful stage show — Springsteen on Broadway — to help restart live theatre in New York City.
