Calvin Harris is warming fans up.

On Friday, the Scottish DJ/producer released his “New Money” track featuring 21 Savage. The song will appear on Harris’ Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2, the long-awaited sequel to his 2017 studio album.

Shortly before announcing “New Money,” Harris revealed Vol. 2’s official release date as well as its star-studded list of guest artists. 21 will be joined by Pusha-T, Lil Durk, Pharrell, Latto, Busta Rhymes, Normani, and more. Though he has yet to share the project’s full tracklist, Harris has already given fans one other cut: “Potion” featuring Dua Lip and Young Thug, which arrived about a month ago.

Harris spoke about Vol. 2 during a May interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, explaining how the second installment differs from the first.

“I felt like the first one, the idea was there, but I didn’t fully carry it through,” he said. “With this one I wanted to have more live drums, guitars … I wanted the original essence. I wanted the layers and the grit and the dirt. And I don’t want things to be mixed too perfectly. I want things to be too loud, and I want things to be like, Fly and the Family Stone, when it’s just mixed on the fly.”

You can listen to “New Money” now on all major platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify. Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 is set to arrive Aug. 5.
