Carved is a company that releases “live edge” cases. These cases are made from real wood, but have resin highlights. That makes them look truly unique, and also pop at the same time. Carved usually uses live colors for that purpose.
Each of the company’s cases is made by hand from burl wood and is completely unique. Carved has a pattern that it uses for its designs, but no two cases are the same. These cases are also made in the US, in Indiana.
These are the first Pixel cases that Carved ever offered. Up to now, the company has been focused on iPhone and Samsung Galaxy devices. We don’t know if the Pixel 7a will join the fold, but for now, only the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro cases are available.
These cases are quite pricey, and made in the US
Now, we’ve seen some rather expensive smartphone cases, and these definitely belong in that category. You’ll have to part with $189 in order to get one Carved case, that goes for both of these smartphones.
That is the same price tag Carved placed on its cases for iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones. The company also has rubber-sided cases on offer, but not for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, at least not yet. Those cases usually go for $60, so they’re a cheaper alternative to Carved’s pride and joy.
