Chinese Car Manufacturer Creates Mini Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 Clone

0 62

We all know that there are Chinese car manufacturers that make replicas of popular cars and SUVs from around the world. We have seen them produce copycat versions of cars and SUVs from brands like Rolls Royce, Range Rover, and other manufacturers in the past. Now, a new set of images and videos is surfacing online, showing a Chinese car manufacturer that has actually made a clone version of the popular Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 SUV. However, this version differs from the original LC300 in almost every aspect. Here, we have a video that shows the Land Cruiser copy up close.

The video has been shared by MASHALLAH REVIEW on their YouTube channel. In this video, we see a small car from a Chinese manufacturer. The name of the car seems to be Kuluze. The reason this car is attracting attention on the internet is because of its styling. The SUV is designed to look like a mini version of the popular Toyota Land Cruiser LC300. It actually resembles a scaled-down version of the LC300. The SUV is actually the size of a Maruti Suzuki WagonR. Initially, it looks like a poorly executed Photoshop job, but trust us, this is an actual product.

Moving to the details, the manufacturer has managed to replicate the front-end of this mini SUV to look exactly like the LC300. The sleek-looking headlamps, along with the large front grille and horizontal lines, resemble the original SUV. There are fog lamps and body-colored skid plates on the lower part of the bumper. Regarding the side profile, the squared wheel arches with body-colored claddings and side skirts all mimic the LC300. However, the wheels on this replica are notably different. They look very cheap, and the overall size of the wheels also appears smaller than those on the original LC300.

Whoever made this put in considerable effort. They definitely paid attention to the details. It genuinely looks like someone took a shrink ray and used it on a Toyota Land Cruiser. There isn’t much information available about the car on the internet. It’s still unclear whether the car is actually a production vehicle or if an individual decided to modify their car with an aftermarket conversion kit to make it resemble a Toyota. The rear of the SUV also features LC300-like tail lamps and even a tailgate applique with a Kuluze badge on it.

According to the information available online, the Kuluze is an electric vehicle. The video doesn’t share many details about the interior. We expect the interior to have a different design, more features, and a more modern look compared to the original Land Cruiser. China has one of the largest automotive industries, with over a hundred car manufacturing companies operating there. Some of these brands produce cars specifically for the domestic market, while others sell cars internationally too. This includes state-owned and privately owned brands, as well as those involved in partnerships with foreign brands. Last year, we saw two Chinese brands come up with copycat versions of the Land Rover Defender. They even replicated the Suzuki Jimny.
