City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon lands escape room, other tenants

SAN RAMON — An escape room and other tenants have landed at San Ramon’s City Center Bishop Ranch, marking a fresh batch of leases for the bustling mixed-use downtown complex.

Escapology, Kohler, Warby Parker and Studio Blanc have all signed leases at the City Center Bishop Ranch, which has become a downtown district for San Ramon, according to executives with Sunset Development, the principal owner and developer of Bishop Ranch.

Here are some details about the new tenants and how much space they agreed to lease:

• Escapology provides players with a 60-minute themed escape game that obliges people to find hidden clues, crack codes and solve challenging puzzles before time runs out to escape. Escapology leased 4,300 square feet and is slated to open this fall.
• Kohler is opening a kitchen and bath design store, leasing 4,100 square feet. Kohler is due to open its store this fall.
• Warby Parker is opening an eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses store sometime this spring in a space that totals 1,500 square feet. Warby Parker will also offer eye examinations.
• Studio Blanc is opening a state-of-the-art photo and video studio in April in a space totaling 1,000 square feet. The company partners with businesses to manage social media and create content. Studio Blanc also offers portraits and other photographs.

Nearly 60 shops, restaurants and other merchants are tenants at City Center, Sunset Development said.

The LOT Cinema and Equinox Fitness are among the anchor tenants at the center, which has a large public square.

The Slanted Door, LB Steak, Boba Guys and Fieldwork Brewing Company are among the other notable tenants.
