The first season for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone launches on December 6, and Activision has released a blog to showcase the new weapons and cosmetics players can expect in the battle pass. Season 1 includes a new BlackCell premium bundle, three new weapons, and plenty of cosmetics to unlock.

Just like past seasons, the three weapons are unlocked in the free tiers of the pass. The XRK Stalker sniper rifle is unlocked in Sector A4, and this is described as a .50 cal rifle with the ability to eliminate opponents in one hit. The RAM-7 assault rifle is available in Sector A7, and this gun is a lightweight assault rifle that offers quick reloading and fast handling. Lastly, the Stormender Launcher is unlocked in Sector A12, and this is a weapon meant to shoot down specific killstreaks and take out drones with its lock-on capabilities.

A new aftermarket part is also available in the pass as a free tier to unlock. The JAK Purifier aftermarket part is available in Sector A14. This part is an underbarrel flamethrower available to equip on several weapons, including multiple assault rifles, battle rifles, and the Riveter shotgun.

Players who purchase either the standard battle pass or BlackCell will instantly unlock the Nolan operator skin as part of a bonus sector. In addition to Nolan, there are also several operator skins for existing operators in Modern Warfare 3. Jet’s Foliage skin is found in Sector A2, Pathfinder’s Undaunted skin unlocks in Sector A3, Scorch has the Refuge skin in Sector A11, and there are even more.

Additionally, the Season 1 pass features 20 weapon blueprints and a vehicle skin for the new off-road Coyote vehicle. Some weapon blueprints are themed with a fiery red and charcoal design, including the Sundering Flame blueprint for the AMR9 submachine gun found in Sector A2 and the Heat Stroke blueprint for the Renetti handgun in Sector A10.

Outside of the battle pass cosmetics, the blog also mentions some of the shop bundles players can expect this season. Two Dune bundles will be available.

Dune’s Paul Atreides has an operator bundle. This pack comes with two weapon blueprints featuring Spice Tracers, the Crysknife melee weapon blueprint, a finishing move, and other small cosmetic items. Feyd-Rautha of House Harkonnen also gets an operator pack. The operator skin is bundled with two tracer weapon blueprints, the Feyd’s Blade melee weapon blueprint, a finishing move, and additional cosmetics.

Fans of The Boys can collect two more Supes for their collection. Season 1 includes operator bundles for A-Train and the new Supe, Firecracker, from the upcoming season. Both will feature their own tracer weapon bundles, unique finishing move, and more.

For those looking for a spooky holiday, there’s an “Undead Santa” operator skin for Klaus equipped with the two weapon blueprints featuring the “Horrifying Holiday” tracers. It includes several other cosmetics and a bonus for Zombies mode, as the operator comes with three Brain Rot ammo mod acquisitions.

Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3 is set to bring brand-new multiplayer maps and another story act for Zombies mode. Warzone’s seasonal update includes integration with MW3, the new Urzikstan map, and a holiday LTM.
