Delta Goodrem has released her first new music of 2024 – the 80s-inspired uptempo banger ‘Hearts on the Run’.

The follow up to last summer’s ‘Back to Your Heart‘, ‘Hearts on the Run’ is a hook-driven anthem that showcases Goodrem’s stunning vocals.

Delta Goodrem explains, “I wrote ‘Hearts on the Run,’ as a message that it’s possible to tap into an unyielding positivity. I wanted to create a high energy feeling with so much momentum, that you can’t help but run. That feeling when you’re in the middle of a marathon, when your legs ache, when your breath is running out, and you question how much further you can go… It’s precisely in that moment that the song insists you can go further, driven by a combination of love and an unbreakable spirit. The song urges you to discover what you’re truly made of by pushing your own boundaries. This song was made to make me run! Your heart is on the run!”

‘Hearts on the Run’ was first teased last summer when Goodrem spent most of the year on the road. She brought her live show over to Europe and the UK for the first-time ever and played a series of sold-out shows including a night at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush.

In 2023 Goodrem also made a return to acting with the Netflix film ‘Love is in the Air’, which topped the streamer’s charts. Last year also saw Goodrem celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut album ‘Innocent Eyes’, which is one of the highest-selling albums in Australian history.

Music on Vinyl has released a number of Goodrem’s albums on vinyls the past 12 months. Fans can get their hands on ‘Innocent Eyes‘, ‘Mistaken Identity‘, ‘Delta’, ‘Child of the Universe‘, ‘Wings of the Wild‘, ‘I Honestly Love You‘ and ‘Only Santa Knows‘ now.

Goodrem was recently honoured at the annual G’DAY USA Arts Gala, which celebrates Australian excellence in America. Previous recipients of the prestigious award include Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi, Elle Macpherson and Toni Collette.
