How to setup Camp in Dragon’s Dogma 2

There are essentially two requirements to setup a Camp in Dragon’s Dogma 2. First off, you need to be at a Campsite. These are typically indicated by a burning campfire out in the world. When you approach and interact with the campfire, you’ll be given the option to setup a camp.

Next, you’ll need some camping equipment like a Camping Kit in order to setup the Camp.

Also, you’ll want to make sure you clear the area around the campsite from monsters and enemies. If you leave some around, they can attack you while camping which would disrupt the camping process and also destroy your camping equipment.

Why you should setup Camp

When you setup and rest at a camp, you get several benefits. First, you’ll replenish your Health and Magick. When you interact with the Camp you’ll also get several options:

  • Rest to Morning — Will advance the time to morning. (Day)
  • Rest to Evening — Will advance the time to evening. (Night)
  • Equip Skills — Equip and unequip Vocatiokn Skills for both your Arisen and Pawn.

Despite the options, you can also equip skills at a campfire without actually setting up a Camp. Therefore, if you’re looking to just change up your skills, you do not need a Camping Kit to do so.

Ideally, you’ll setup Camp to to heal up and advance the time to a certain point if you are far away from a town.
