Drake Reportedly Completes Sale of Hidden Hills ‘YOLO Estate’ for $12M

0 72

After listing his three-house “YOLO Estate” in Hidden Hills for sale earlier this year, Drake has sold its main property for $12 million.

TMZ reports that the biggest home on the estate has sold to an unknown buyer for $12 million, below its original $14.8 million asking price. Consisting of 12,500 square feet, the luxurious home includes six fireplaces, a wine cellar, and a 25-seat theater in addition to the obligatory recording studio. That’s not to mention the huge swimming pool area featuring a spa and swim-up bar, or the separate courts to play tennis, basketball, and volleyball.

The other two properties on the estate were purchased by Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford for $11 million in April. The entire compound, when it was listed in March, attracted interest from potential buyers that included Britney Spears and Caitlyn Jenner, among others. It’s unclear if the identity of the buyer will be revealed but the news comes not long after Drake made another major property purchase.

Back in March, as Architectural Digest reported, Drizzy purchased a $50 million home in Beverly Crest, Los Angeles. The 20,000 square-foot property still obviously pales in comparison to his grandiose 50,000 square-foot Toronto mansion that he’s nicknamed “The Embassy.” That mansion was designed with Canadian architectural and interior designer Ferris Rafauli, who helped bring Drake’s vision for the home to life.

Earlier this month, Drake surprised fans with Honest, Nevermind, his seventh studio album. Despite its drastic shift in style to a more dance-oriented sound, the record has already topped the Billboard 200 album chart.
